When a sentence isn’t grammatically correct, readers may stumble over the words before understanding the meaning. They may also question the writer’s expertise.

We appreciate you being here.

Grammatically accurate alternatives follow:

We appreciate your being here.

We appreciate you for being here.

We appreciate your presence.

We’re glad you’re here.
